I am not against helping those folks who genuinely need assistance, I am taking aim specifically at those who game and use the system and the politicians who use people's naiveté (sic: ignorance) with promises they know full well are false, misleading and not in the best interest (long-term) of those they profess to be "helping".
 

 

     Unfortunately, for the future of our nation and the world, we are too focused on government handouts rather than the most basic function of government: defending us from barbarians.

With a penalty shootout looming in the scoreless final, Germany's Mario Gotze delivered a moment of brilliance that won't soon be forgotten on either side of the Atlantic Ocean. In the 113th minute of the final at Estadio Maracana on Sunday, the reserve forward received a cross from teammate Andre Schurrle as he ran into the Argentina penalty area. The 22-year-old controlled the pass with his chest and then struck a crisp left-footed shot that produced the only goal in Germany's 1-0 extra time win over Argentina.

Thoughts on the USA Mens National Team, World Cup 2014

I am a damn PROUD AMERICAN right now! Wow. We have been defeated in battle, but- only this time. 

     You have represented your Country with honor, courage, and valor. You made me proud. This game reminds me of the Battle of Thermopylae so many years ago- 300 against greater than 20000.

     Here they still fought, into extra time, with foot, leg and chest, with their unarmed hands, even with their mouths, until the last whistle rained down. With each step you took, I saw the courage in your mind, you 23 men, THAT is what I saw. PRIDE, EFFORT.
    
Jurgen Klinsmann is an excellant Coach, Tin Howard, super Keeper!!

Am I disappointed, sure. But, this team did great. No-one projected them to emerge from their group. 
    
 Let's look at the big picture. Who didn't even get as far as US(A)? England, South Korea, Japan, Spain, Portugal, Italy!!! This is not easy, not every country can be Germany making it to this, the quarterfinals 8 world cups in a row. Where is China, Russia?

Great show USA Soccer. If you don't enjoy the World Cup, seriously, there is something wrong with you, imo.
